DESCRIPTION & ATMOSPHERE: The quality of the food at this gastropub is off the charts and the abundance of brick & wood in the floors, walls, and tables brings a 'favorite neighborhood pub' warmth to this standout stop on the tour. The restaurant is family friendly and the outside patio welcomes dogs, especially on Wednesday nights when an appetizer of fries is complimentary if you have your furry friend in tow. Most items are made in house, including all smoked, cured and pickled items. Chef Matt Swain sources from nearby farms, making the dishes seasonally focused and responsibly produced. The menu lists the sourced farms, wineries, breweries, and their distance from the restaurant, highlighting the farm/artisan to table philosophy of Ravenleaf.

FAN FAVORITES:  A must have are the in-house cut and seasoned fries coated with various herbs and a little bit of brown sugar.  Best fries ever!  The house smoked pork is quite smokey, but not overwhelming, with a tenderness only 14 hours in the smoker can achieve.

ENTERTAINMENT & EXTRAS: Throughout the year, Ravenleaf presents specialty dinners like 'End of Summer Luau' and 'Oktoberfest'. On Tuesdays, diners who have a Roost Card receive discounts on drafts, Wednesdays in the fall are Trivia night and Sundays are Prime Rib Day (how British!). Also, ask about event space, catering, and their food truck.

FAN FAVORITES: Last Drop has an excellent selection of micro and nano breweries that are often not seen outside of the actual brewery.

INFO: thegrowlerguysseattlenortheast facebook

DESCRIPTION & ATMOSPHERE:  Located in the former Ying's Drive-In, this iconic, mid-century building is easy to spot on Lake City Way.  Not just a 60 tap craft beer growler filling location, rather Growler Guys is a community gathering spot where you can share beer & cider with your kids, pets, and neighbors. For your hunger, Growler Guys offer in-house made pizzas, wings, and breadsticks, plus food trucks are frequently in attendance. All of this can be enjoyed on their large heated patio.

FAN FAVORITES: With a rotating 60 tap line up, favorites change depending on the choices. The list always has a multitude of styles including sours, saisons, pilsners, Belgiums, ales, ambers, porters, and stouts. Cider fans usually have at least 5 choices and non-alcoholic root beer fans will be thrilled at local draft root beer.  As for food, the pizzas are made in house with a propriety sauce, specialty 3 cheese blend, and dough which is sourced from a local artisan bakery. Especially good are the BBQ Chicken and Vegetarian pizzas.

ENTERTAINMENT & EXTRAS:  Growler Guys often host local craft breweries where you can meet the brewer, talk about their craft and sample from their freshly tapped kegs. Sports fans will be pleased with screens showing games when local teams are playing.

DESCRIPTION & ATMOSPHERE:  A new addition to the North Seattle food scene, Brother Barrel takes a unique approach to atmosphere, food, and beverages.  While many places in the area are family friendly with a "my local hangout" feel, Brother Barrel is slick, chic, and stylish.  Now, don't get me wrong, this is a place you will want to come back to again and again, as long as you like a hip, upscale atmosphere where only adults are admitted. The name is a nod to the craft barrel-aged and sour beers on tap (crafted by both Elliott Bay Brewing Company and guest breweries) but Brother Barrel also has a full bar for those looking for a perfectly crafted cocktail and small plates to pair with your drink.

FAN FAVORITES: Gin barrel aged Belgian, in-house made breads and charcuterie plates, house created sausage.

ENTERTAINMENT & EXTRAS: A social gathering spot, Brother Barrel is a perfect place to hang out after work with co-workers, meet a bunch of friends to try different beer styles and share several small plates or have a date night with your significant other.

DESCRIPTION & ATMOSPHERE: Their motto: "Great beer you can settle into made by folks who refuse to settle for anything less than what they would drink themselves." And with that, welcome to 9 Yards, a casual, community brewery that focuses on non-IPA beers that often have a unique twist.  The Blueberry Wheat is blended with...you guessed it...blueberries. The Imperial Walnut Brown Ale is steeped in walnuts which have been soaked in unblended 151 Skip Rock rum. And Figgy, a non-sour which is, obviously, made with figs. But really unique are their infusions. Try their kolsch infused with lemon, the milk stout infused with coffee or the winter ale infused with coconut.
